Roasted Grape Baked Brie
When you roast grapes they taste like red wine bursting with jammy flavors that pair beautifully with a creamy rich cheese like brie. This is an easy appetizer to make and will have everyone asking for the recipe!
This appetizer is simple yet elegant to make and it only requires a handful of ingredients, most of which are pantry staples that I bet you already have on hand, and did I mention the baked brie cheese? There is nothing people like more than brie cheese during the cozy months of the year, so why not serve it up with these red grapes bursting with flavor!
Ingredients for Roasted GRAPE Baked brie
Quality of brie cheese matters! I always recommend using a brie cheese that is French- brie cheese originated in France so if it is French you know it’s creamy, has notes of mushroom and will melt really well! When melted, the cheaper brie cheeses can often pool with oil which means they aren’t the best quality and stuffed with fillers & additives. When making baked brie, spend a little bit more on the cheese to make sure it’s a quality one.
Here are all the ingredients that you’ll need for this recipe:
Brie Cheese
Red Grapes
Olive Oil
Salt
Fresh Thyme
The salt might not seem necessary, but it is for this recipe! Red grapes are naturally sweet, but the salt compliments the grapes and breaks down the sweetness and jamminess which is what you want after roasting them!
My favorite pans to use are by USA pan - great quality and they never change color or warp on me. At such a great price point you can’t go wrong!
I am always asked about what baked brie dish I use and this is my favorite one by STAUB

Score the top of your brie cheese wheel like this for 2 reasons: the outer rind of the cheese holds it together like a bowl while baking so the creamy cheese in the middle doesn’t ooze out all over the place and by cutting these cross hatch marks on the top of the brie it allows it to cook evenly inside and lets the jam or grapes you put on top seep into the cheese after.

Roasted Grape Baked Brie
Ingredients
- 8 oz wheel of brie cheese
- 1-2 cups of red grapes (pulled off the vine)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp flaky sea salt
- fresh thyme and rosemary (garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400
- On a baking sheet lay out your red grapes (make sure you take them off the vine before baking) and drizzle with olive oil, sea salt and add on fresh thyme (optional).
- Bake your grapes for 15-20 minutes or until you see they are blistering with the skins coming off.
- While they bake, place the brie cheese in a ceramic dish and score the top of it with cross hatch marks.
- Bake your brie for 10-12 minutes (slightly shorter cooking time than the grapes).
- When both are done baking, add the roasted grapes on top of the baked brie.
- Serve warm with crackers or a fresh baguette!
Notes
Add honey on AFTER the brie bakes. If you add it on before it will become very runny and watery
This is what your grapes will look like before going into the oven to roast
Serve this with crackers- I love these fig crisps you can find them at Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s
