Fresh veggies and dip is an easy appetizers to serve if you are having people over but they can be boring. SO SPICE up your veggies cups and add them to mini flower pots. To make these spring & summer party ready, add in some plastic wrap and then scoop in your hummus or vegetable dip of choice. Then stick in your chopped up veggies one by one. Guests can enjoy having a bite in one hand and a glass of wine in the other while they chat with friends and family at your party. These are perfect to serve for a spring dinner party, baby shower, bridal shower, garden party wedding or any summer soiree really! You can customize them to add in anything you’d like inside🌸🪴
Ingredients for flower pot Crudités cups
This appetizer requires minimal ingredients and you can add in anything you’d like - think seasonal items or if you are having a themed party to include like color items. I like to top mine with a flower or herb garnish for the finishing touch. Here I added in an edible flower and fresh basil.
Here’s a list of ingredients that I used to make mine:
Hummus or dip of choice
Carrots
Pepper
Celery
Cucumber
Tomatoes
Edible flower (garnish)
Fresh basil (garnish)
I used these 2.5” terracotta pots for the charcuterie pot cup. You can also purchase these at Michaels but I found that Amazon had the best deal for them, especially if you want a lot of them for a party appetizer.
For dips, you can add in whatever you like to eat veggies with best! Hummus is a great option and comes in many different flavors. Ranch, a homemade dip, Heluva Good dips! or you can even add in a cheese dip if you prefer that. Feel free to pair these alongside my Flower Pot Charcuterie Cups! They are always a hit.

Flower Pot Crudité Cups
A super cute way to serve up vegetables and dip this spring is in these flower pot crudité cups! These hand held appetizers are easy for guests to grab and snack on and have a fresh bite. Great for any Spring or Summer gathering.
Ingredients
- Hummus or dip of choice
- Carrots
- Pepper
- Celery
- Cucumber
- Tomatoes
- Edible flower (garnish)
- Fresh basil leaf (garnish)
Instructions
- Place all your mini flower pots down and add in a small piece of plastic wrap to each pot (you can also add in foil, parchment paper or a coffee filter if you'd like other options)
- Filling the flower pot cup is easy! First, cut up all your veggies then add in item by item artfully.
- You don't want to over crowd the pot so just add in one of each vegetable
- Last item to add in is your cherry tomatoes
- Finally, add in your garnish which can be a flower or a fresh basil leaf (I added in both!)
- Serve right away OR to keep fresh put all the assembled crudité vegetable cups in a big foil container like this and cover them with a damp piece of paper towel for up to 24 hours. This will keep everything fresh!
