Prosecco Sugared Grapes

These prosecco sugared grapes are a sweet bubbly bite to make for holiday celebrations! With only 5 minutes of prep work involved they are the perfect boozy bite to make.

These are my favorite little snack to make every holiday season! Whether you make them for Christmas, holiday dinner parties or New Years Eve- they are always a hit! Serve up as a snack on coupe glasses, on a charcuterie board, as a garnish on drinks- they are so versatile! I have even added these to a fruit salad in the spring time and they are always the first to go.

Ingredients for prosecco sugared grapes

These are so easy to make because they only require three ingredients! That’s it! If you are feeling super boozy you can add vodka or another liquor of choice but I always go back to the original recipe with a bottle of bubbly or sparkling wine.

  • grapes

  • prosecco

  • sugar

You can use either red or green grapes for this- it totally depends if you like a sweeter bite or not. Red grapes will definitely make these sweeter.

I’ve been serving these Prosecco grapes at parties for years and they’re always a hit! If you’re throwing any type of get-together where you’re in need of some finger food or appetizers, add these grapes to the list. Wine lovers will gobble them up and beg you for the recipe. You’ll love them because they’re so easy to make. Perfect for holidays, parties, Sunday brunch, and anytime you’re celebrating with friends and family.

TIP: don’t throw out your prosecco after, you can use it for mimosas or other mixed drinks!

Prosecco Sugared Grapes

These prosecco sugared grapes are a sweet bubbly bite to make for holiday celebrations! With only 5 minutes of prep work involved they are the perfect boozy bite to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of prosecco
  • 1 lb grapes (or more depending on how many you want to make)
  • 1/3 of a cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Gently pull each grape from the stem and transfer to a colander; rinse under running water.
  2. Transfer grapes to a shallow dish and pour the Prosecco over them, making sure the grapes are covered in the liquid.
  3. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight)
  4. Pour the sugar in a shallow bowl
  5. Drain the grapes, but don’t let them dry completely. Place a handful at a time in the sugar and roll/toss to fully coat them.
  6. You can serve these right away, but they're best when they've chilled for a couple hours before eating. It's fun to serve them in a champagne coupe glass or bowl, on a charcuterie board or on party skewers.
