Flower Pot Charcuterie Cups
A beautiful way to serve cheese & charcuterie this spring is in these flower pot charcuterie cups! These hand held appetizers are easy for guests to grab and snack on and have sweet and savory bites inside. Great for any Spring or Summer get togethers.
Charcuterie & cheese is one of the best appetizers to serve if you are having people over. To make these spring & summer party ready, add all your food items into these food safe flower pots. Guests can enjoy having a bite in one hand and a glass of wine in the other while they chat with friends and family at your party. These are perfect to serve for a spring dinner party, baby shower, bridal shower, garden party wedding or any summer soiree really! You can customize them to add in anything you’d like inside- my favorite is havarti cheese as this is always a crowd favorite.
Ingredients for flower pot charcuterie cups
This appetizer requires minimal ingredients and you can add in anything you’d like - think seasonal items or if you are having a themed party to include like color items. You can add in cheese, charcuterie, a honey stick, fruit, dried fruit, nuts, chocolate, grapes, veggies, a vegetable dip- I like to top mine with a flower or herb garnish for the finishing touch. Here I added in baby’s breathe flowers and fresh thyme.
Here’s a list of ingredients that I used to make mine:
Walnuts
Crackers
Gouda cheese
Salami
Havarti cheese
Grapes
Strawberries
Baby’s breath flowers (garnish)
Fresh thyme (garnish)
For crackers, I like to add in a long cracker to add some height to the charcuterie cup. I love these ones by Firehook Crackers as they have different flavors to choose from.
I used these 2.5” terracotta pots for the charcuterie pot cup. You can also purchase these at Michaels but I found that Amazon had the best deal for them, especially if you want a lot of them for a party appetizer.

A beautiful way to serve cheese & charcuterie this spring is in these flower pot charcuterie cups! These hand held appetizers are easy for guests to grab and snack on and have sweet and savory bites inside. Great for any Spring or Summer get togethers!
Ingredients
- Walnuts
- Crackers
- 6 oz Gouda cheese
- 8 oz Salami
- 6 oz Havarti cheese
- Grapes
- Strawberries
- Baby’s breath flowers (garnish)
- Fresh thyme (garnish)
Instructions
- Place all your charcuterie pots down and add in one item at a time to each pot to ensure you don't miss any food items.
- Making a charcuterie cup is easy! Add in your smallest food item first and then add in the bigger ones to fill in the cup
- First add in your walnuts
- Then add in your long cracker, gouda cheese triangle slice and grapes
- Create your charcuterie flower using two pieces of salami. Fold the two slices in half then roll them to create a rose. Add into a fancy hors d'oeuvres skewer and then add on two havarti cheese cubes as this pairs well with the salami!
- Add the salami skewer into the charcuterie pot
- Add in half a strawberry
- Finally, add in your garnish which can be a flower or fresh thyme (I added in both!)
- Serve right away OR to keep fresh put all the assembled charcuterie pots in a big foil container like this and cover them with a damp piece of paper towel for up to 24 hours. This will keep everything fresh!
