Ingredients for cheesy bacon ranch dip
This is one of those dips that you won’t be able to stop with just one bite. It should be called crack dip because that is exactly what it is! I love making dips when I host people over- they are always loved by guests- perfect for game day snacks, a dinner party or a casual Saturday night in. What I love about this dip recipe is that is it quick and easy to make with only a few ingredients!
Here are all the ingredients that you’ll need for this cheesy dip recipe:
Cream cheese
Sour Cream
Mayonnaise
Rach seasoning
Cheddar cheese
Bacon
Green Onions
There are so many ways to use this dip (I often will put leftovers, if there are any, on a sandwich the next day!)
Crackers: Any kind of buttery-flavored crackers or cheese crisps like Cheez-It Snap’d like I used!
Chips: Any kind of tortilla or potato chip.
Veggies: Celery sticks, carrot stick, or cucumber slices. Try filling mushroom caps and heating with a little parmesan cheese melted on top.
Spread: Or, use as spread on a sandwich or burger!

This dip gets even better with time in the fridge! It not only gets thicker in the fridge but the flavors blend together in there so feel free to leave it in the fridge for 1 hour up to one day. A great make ahead cheesy dip!

Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz of softened cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups shredded cheddar
- 6 slices of cooked bacon chopped up
- 2 green onions sliced
Instructions
- To prep your ingredients, make sure you shred your cheddar cheese finely and cook your bacon strips in a pan or how you prefer. After your bacon is cooked chop it up into smaller pieces.
- Then, in a food processor combine room temperature cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, HALF the ranch seasoning mix (I like to add more as I go, try the dip after blended and add more as desired) and blend until smooth.
- Then add in cheddar cheese, bacon and onions (reserve a bit of each for a garnish on top of the dip). Blend again, as this will thicken up the dip.
- Add your dip into a bowl or container, cover and put in the refrigerator for one hour or more to let it chill and thicken. This can be made up to a day in advanced.
- Serve with your crackers, chips or veggies and enjoy!
Notes
I only added in half a packet of ranch seasoning, I like to add as I go and taste test so that my dip doesn't get too salty.
I like to reserve some of the bacon, cheddar and onions to add on top of the dip as a garnish when it is done
