Whipped Brie Butter
The compound butter mixture you never knew you needed- BRIE BUTTER. If you like bread, butter & cheese then this is the recipe for you. Its a simple appetizer that is easy to whip up (literally)!
When hosting you want to serve something with a WOW factor that easy to make. This might look like regular butter but when your guests try it they will be blown away by the flavor. When brie & butter are whipped together they become light, creamy and smooth making it the perfect addition to a warm baguette, sourdough, mash potatoes, steak, the options are ENDLESS of what you can put this on.

This appetizer requires only four ingredients- you can always add on other toppings like honey, caramelized onions, chili oil- choose your own adventure!
Brie cheese
Salted butter
Heavy cream
Course sea salt
This is one of the only recipes that you will see me removing the rind off the brie cheese wheel. Even though this part of the cheese is edible, it does not blend well in the food processor. You just want to creamy interior of the brie cheese for this recipe.
This is the tool I use to remove the rind off my brie cheese. It also cuts the best thin slices of gouda cheese!
You can make this ahead of time and store in your fridge for up to 3 days. It tastes best at room temperature so when you plan to serve it make sure to take it out of the fridge in advance.

Whipped Brie Butter
Ingredients
- 8 oz brie cheese wheel
- 8 oz salted cutter (room temperature)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp course sea salt
Instructions
- Remove the rind off your brie cheese while it’s cold or from right out of the fridge (makes it easier to take the rind off). I used the cheese slicer linked above but you could use a knife instead.
- Cut the brie & butter into chunks and wait until it comes to room temperature
- Add brie, butter and heavy cream to a food processor and blend until whipped and smooth
- Add to a bowl and add a pinch or two of salt on top!
- Enjoy with a warm baguette & apple slices
