Ingredients for SALTED CARAMEL BAKED BRIE
This appetizer requires only four ingredients- the walnuts are optional but add a nice crunch!
Brie cheese
Caramel sauce
Course sea salt
Walnuts
You can prepare this ahead of time and then when your guests are on their way pop it into the oven to bake until soft and oozy.
Always keep the outer cheese rind ON your brie cheese while baking it because the rind creates a bowl for the oozy cheese to sit in while it bakes. If you take the rind off then your oozy cheese will look more like a puddle vs cheese and risks burning in the oven. The rind is totally edible and is what gives the inside of this cheese its flavor!
TIP for baking: always bake your brie cheese with the lid OFF- this will ensure the cheese bakes evenly throughout. Only use the lid to keep the cheese warm for your guests once its out of the oven.

- Spread on your caramel sauce and a few pinches of course sea salt
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until cheese starts to ooze out/the top of the brie is soft to touch
