Spring Floral Dinner Party

If you are looking to host a spring dinner party, birthday party or event here is all the inspiration you need! With zesty cheesy eats and fresh spring time sips. Host a spring party with ease using my free dinner party guide below.

I wanted to host a girlie spring time party that encompassed lots of florals and delicious but easy bites. Think bright and beautiful flowers cascading out of terra cotta flower pots and hanging from the ceiling. The vibe of this party was very spring forward with the food being centered around flavors of lemon.

Hosting can be complicated and overwhelming. From thinking about decor to how to keep all the food warm and made in advance, to what drinks to serve and how to make it a memorable evening. I am here to take the guess work out of planning your next dinner party! You’ll find an editable invitation below as well as amazon & recipe links so you can easily recreate everything that I did.

Serving up a variety of Bread and Butter Wines! If you have been following me for a while, you know these are my GO TO wines to serve. Bread & Butter Pinot Noir is mine and my husbands favorite wine and we have so many memories drinking this while dating- whether it was alongside a homemade pizza night or BBQ. We even named our red toy poodle Pinot after their Pinot Noir 🐶

Their wines are easy drinking, approachable and make hosting uncomplicated with all the options they have. They are also super affordable too. I like to serve up a white and red for a dinner party that way everyone has options.

Bread & Butter Pinot Noir- offers a fruit-forward taste with notes of juicy red berries like cherries and raspberries, balanced by subtle oak and vanilla flavors, resulting in a smooth, medium-bodied wine.

Bread & Butter Pinot Grigio- tastes crisp and vibrant, with notes of fresh citrus, green apple, and pear, complemented by subtle floral notes.

You can find my lemon Boursin pasta recipe here! It is so easy to make all in one dish.

spring dinner party food:

I wanted the food for this party to be EASY to make to take the stress out of hosting and show you all that you don’t need to have super fancy food or slave in the kitchen all day to really pull together a good menu. We have an appetizer, main dish, dessert and drinks to pull together this meal! It guess what? All the food cost me under $100 to feed up to 6 people. Pretty impressive I know.

Charcuterie Flower Pots- What better way than to display cheese & charcuterie in cute little flower pots for spring or summer dinner parties! These are really easy to make and you can add in anything you’d like! Find the full recipe and links to the pots to make these here.

Lemon Boursin Pasta- this pasta dish is creamy, cheesy and oh so zesty for spring! It really comes together so easily all in one baking dish. It can be eaten warm or served cold as pasta salad. This is one of those recipes that everyone will be asking how you made it! Fine the full recipe here.

Lemon cake- I am not a huge baker so anything I can do to make dessert simplified yet still elegant and have a wow factor, I WILL DO! You can transform any grocery store cake into one that fits any party theme. Simply cut some extra flowers you used in your flower displays, put a bit of plastic wrap around the stem (so that the bare stem isn’t in the cake that people eat) and stick into the cake. TA DA! A beautiful cake and no baking required.

Below you will find an editable invitation to make hosting this spring floral party that much easier! Simply add in your party details and send out the invitations to friends🤍

If you don’t have a green thumb like me. Easily make beautiful flower displays using terra cotta pots and a floral block. Buy any flowers and start sticking in the stems randomly. It is a trust the process type of thing but once you fill it in at the end with the baby’s breath it really comes together beautifully! It almost looks like a professional did it!

To make these:

1. Cut your floral block with a knife to fit into any sized terra cotta flower pot

2. In a bowl with water soak your floral block for at least 5 minutes so its fully wet

3. Cut flower stems in different lengths

4. Put floral block in the pot and start to stick in flowers randomly

5. Fill in spaces with smaller flowers like baby’s breathe or hydrangeas (filler flowers)

DESSERT HACK: you can transform any grocery store cake into one that fits any party theme. Simply cut some of the flowers you used in your flower displays, put a bit of plastic wrap around the stem (so that the bare stem isn’t in the cake that people eat) and stick into the cake. LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL it comes out & perfectly in theme for the party.
